As part of Volunteers’ Week, we’re shining a light on the incredible people and organisations across RCT who give their time to make a difference in their communities.

Today we are spotlighting RCT Heart Heroes. Based in Tonypandy, this grassroots organisation is powered by volunteers who provide vital wellbeing support to the local community.

From helping those facing homelessness or financial hardship, to offering mental health and fitness classes, a youth club, and even free defibrillator training – their volunteers are at the heart of it all. As the team puts it: “If the volunteers weren’t running it, there would be no us.”
