What commitments can our partners make to supporting a more sustainable community and voluntary sector in RCT?
Join Interlink RCT and community and voluntary sector members from across Rhondda Cynon Taf for a day of conversation, collaboration and action.
Based on ‘what matters to you’, Interlink has been working with members and key strategic partners, including Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council and Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board, to develop a set of proposed Commitments recognising the vital role of community and voluntary organisations in supporting people and communities across RCT.
The Commitments focus on issues that matter most to the sector, including:
- Sustainable funding
- Volunteering
- Effective communication and engagement
- Equal partnerships
- Shared decision-making
The day will include:
- An update on progress with the proposed Commitments
- Opportunities to discuss what the Commitments could mean in practice
- The chance to help shape priorities for action
- A Design Marketplace
- Training and workshops
- Take part in our AGM and help inform our Interlink plans and priorities
- Refreshments and a light lunch
Your voice is essential in helping ensure these Commitments lead to meaningful and lasting change and support a stronger, more sustainable community and voluntary sector across RCT.
Interlink RCT would like to make sure that our training, network and event opportunities, both online and in person, are accessible for a diverse audience.
