“I volunteer with the Beavers section of 1st Tonyrefail /2nd Gilfach Goch scouts group. I began volunteering when my son began in Squirrels a little over a year ago. Without people like me volunteering the Squirrels would have had to close and our young people would have missed on a great group.

During this time I have helped organise fun and exciting activities for Squirrels and Beavers. I have also become secretary for the scouts group. I really enjoy volunteering with the Beavers. Watching the young people learn new skills is well worth the time I give up by volunteering.”
