Volunteers’ Week 2024 #VolunteersWeek

Volunteers’ Week is a special week earmarked to thank volunteers for all that they bring to their local communities.

2024 marks the 40th Anniversary of Volunteers’ Week, and organisations across the UK will be celebrating from Monday 3 June 2024 to Sunday 9 June 2024.

Take a look at the exciting new look for Volunteers’ Week by visiting volunteersweek.org where you’ll find information on how to get involved and resources (available in English and Welsh) to help you celebrate your volunteers.

Activities in RCT:

  1. Hope in the Community – Launch Event: Tuesday 4th June 2024, 1pm to 3pm at YMa, Taff Street, Pontypridd, CF37 4TS

Join Hope Rescue for the launch of our community programme ‘Hope in the community’. Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, the programme will help more dogs and owners to stay together for mutual benefit, while promoting positive, responsible dog ownership. We will work with local partners to help tackle the root problems that lead to poor welfare for both dogs and people. Meet Hope Rescue staff and volunteers, hear more about our exciting plans, and help us shape the future of the programme in your community.

A full programme for the event, and direction to the venue, can be found here: https://www.hoperescue.org.uk/hope-in-the-community-launch-event

Please confirm your attendance, or nominate a representative, by emailing: louise.wheeler@hoperescue.org.uk
