Pentre Comrades Club in Pentre is a pub/club that hosts social and community events and functions, including bingo, entertainment, weddings, and more.

In recent years, they have had to undergo refurbishments to the bar and toilet areas, and they still need to refurbish their roof and kitchen area. Interlink, Coalfields Regeneration, Pen Y Cymoedd and RCTCBC have been supporting Pentre Comrades Club to find the necessary funding solutions and to guide them in the direction of what type of community organisation they want to be and how to successfully get there.

Pentre Comrades Club have ambitions to broaden their horizons and target a wider community. They are hosting a series of upcoming community and stakeholder engagement/consultation events throughout March to guide future funding plans and strategies.
