Setting up and running your group or organisation

Running an activity, group or large organisation isn’t easy. While no individual or small group of people can know everything, we can help you to access a wide range of information, advice and support. If you read something that’s hard to understand, just pick up the phone and call us. We can talk it over with you, or we can visit your group for a chat.

Third Sector Support Wales information sheets

We are part of Third Sector Support Wales. Together, we provide a breadth of useful information via the Knowledge Hub, and its resources are under four pillars:

  • volunteering
  • good governance
  • sustainable funding
  • engagement and influencing

Measuring impact

Knowing the impact your organisation makes better serves the people you support. It involves:

  • planning what difference you want your programme or service to make
  • collecting the right information to know if you’re achieving your goals
  • assessing what impact you’re having
  • learning from the results to improve your work
